If you have a tight budget, and can gather $500. dollars…sounds like alot to some, but if you’d stop buying certain electronics for just 3 months you’d get this amount and be ready to make MORE money with a very professional camera. Not the best… but close enough for your success. This is the Canon EOS Rebel T3. This does not include a lens. I advise you to look into 35 mm – 80 mm lens. That way you can shoot indoors with the wider angel and classic outdoor with the 80mm.
This young boy’s senior portrait shows why you need a flash even outdoors to light up the faces. This is dull. When shooting a couple or single person remember to shoot them a bit back… less close up. You can always bring the photo closer, but rarely can you crop to to put the subject back. Also…staying back makes the customer like themselves better. Less imperfections are visible. This still needs to be forward…but with room to crop. Always leave enough room at the top of the subject’s head.
